Ethics paper

4th entry of the day – I've got verbal diarrhea. I certainly souldn't say too much a forthcoming paper from the Journal of Medical Ethics, at least until it is published. It focuses on the ethics of Biojewellery, and was writen by Dr Iain Brassington after he saw the article in New Scientist. We hope to carry a link to the paper in full as soon as we can, In the meantime I hope we wont get into trouble over this quote:

'it is noteworthy that, in a passage that seems particularly apposite here, even Kant concedes that, since marriage is “the reciprocal giving of one’s very person into the possession of the other… neither is dehumanised by the bodily use that one makes of the other” .'

We're excited that Iain chose to wrote about the project, and hope not to dehumanise anyone, although transhumanism is another issue entirely...
