Interviewing engineers and scientists

Material Beliefs is interested in exploring technologies that are being used to repair and extend the functions of our bodies.

The project started with four designers filming a series of interviews with engineers and scientists about their research. In addition Steve Jackman has shot and edited some short films with researchers from related fields.

  • Anders Sandberg is a Swedish neuroscientist, science debater, futurist, transhumanist and author.
  • Tim Constandinou describes a Bionic Sensor he helped develop with researchers at the IBE.
